Game programming and developing

Something that I want to try my hands on in the future is game programming. I always wanted to give it a shot as a kid and in today’s age of indie games, I feel like now a good time as any to try to learn how to program something as simple as a point A to B platform games.

While doing my research, I found a few programs that seem interesting to me

  • NES Maker: A drag and drop software where you can put your games on an actual cartridge
  • Unity: Everyone’s favorite compiler. Also a good point to start off at
  • Games Maker studio: A few popular games use this as their engine.

Once I have something presentable, I will make sure to include it here on my blogs
